　　On November 25, 3 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases were reported in Shanghai. The 3 cases have traveled to Suzhou together from November 19 to 21. One close contact in Xuzhou and two close contacts in Hangzhou all tested positive. In order to carry out science-based and rational prevention and control of COVID-19 and reduce the risk of further spread of infection in Wuxi, the Notice hereby specifies the followings:

　　Travelers who have travel history to Shangrao city of Jiangxi province since October 16, Chaoyang District of Beijing since October 17, Haidian District of Beijing since October 28, Dalian city of Liaoning province since October 20, Dehong Dai Jingpo Ethnic Group Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan province since November 1, Pudong New District and Qingpu District of Shanghai since November 10, Suzou city since November 19, Xuzhou city since November 21, Hangzhou city of Zhejiang province since November 22, and people whose travel records overlap with the ones of the confirmed cases (including the asymptomatic cases) shall immediately report to your villages of residence (community of residence), companies, the local task forces of Covid-19 response or the hotels. Please cooperate with the local task forces of Covid-19 response and implement the health management measures.

　　2. During the health monitoring period, if any symptoms occur such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, weakened sense of smell (taste) or diarrhoea, please voluntarily report to the community and seek medical treatment in competent medical institutions with fever clinics (offices) ASAP. Please avoid taking public transport to seeing doctors and report to them about the illness, travel history and contact history.

　　3. It is strongly recommended not to visit areas with confirmed local COVID-19 cases. If you must travel, please report in advance to your employer, local community or village and take care of yourselves. Those who are bound for Wuxi for sightseeing or business activities, shall voluntarily carry out nucleic acid testing in the nearest testing site ASAP and monitor personal health.

　　Strict COVID-19 prevention and control measures shall be taken, including ventilation, disinfection, temperature measurement, the checking of health QR codes and travel QR codes as well as mask wearing in the city’s key public places such as scenic spots, commercial complexes, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, farmer’s markets, cinemas, transport stations and public transport tools.

　　5. Vaccination is the best way to prevent the infection of COVID-19, reach the state of herd immunity, slow down and prevent the spread of disease, and protect the health of individuals and family members. We recommend citizens eligible for vaccination to take the booster jab ASAP and cooperate with the government to encourage the children between the age of 3 to 11 to get vaccination.

　　We call on all residents to stay vigilant against the epidemic and follow personal protection measures. Avoid gathering in groups, keep social distance, wear masks, and maintain good living habits. Please pay attention to the news released by official media and do not believe, spread nor start rumors. All residents are requested to cooperate with the prevention and control of the epidemic. Those who refuse to cooperate in epidemic prevention and control measures and concealing or misreporting personal information will be held liable in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
